Rachel Philipson is an award-winning photographer and graphic designer with 15 years professional experience. Before founding Rachel Philipson Photography and Design, in Ithaca, NY, in 2007, Rachel spent nine years in newspaper advertising and marketing, designing every manner of advertisement, from client ads to newspaper box rack cards to roadside billboards.

Rachel also worked as a freelance photographer in the Boston area, where she lived after graduating from Montserrat College of Art, with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography. Her fine-art photographs have appeared in juried shows and publications in Massachusetts and across New York State. A native of Ithaca, she and her husband share their home with 2 beagles and 2 cats.
