Rachel Philipson was AMAZING!! Asking someone to take photos of your wedding is kinda scary... (How will they turn out? What if the photographer doesn't show? How much will it cost?) Rachel was patient, flexible, and understanding. She took amazing photos of my husband and me at Treman State Park and I'm SO glad I chose her. (PS The price was perfect too!)

Rachel is not only a gifted photographer. She is also a thoughtful, kind and helpful person--just who you need by your side at your wedding. When my maid of honor did not come on our scheduled wedding picture date, Rachel went to the bathroom with me and helped me put on my dress. On the day of our legal wedding, as we gathered at city hall, I realized I had forgotten our marriage license at home. The guests got antsy and the judge gave me dirty looks. I rushed home to get the paper work
while Rachel kept the crowds mellow and went to get coffee with the guests near by. She is like a sister, a best friend, a maid of honor, a wedding planner and an incredible photographer all rolled into one. The pictures she took of our wedding are simply gorgeous. She arranged us in poses that felt natural and comfortable but look elegant and beautiful. Rachel is so creative and sees the incredible in the ordinary. Things that I see everyday look magical in her photographs. Her wonderful sense of humor put the wedding party at ease. She is so easy and fun to work with. Her rates are incredibly reasonable, and she had all of my wedding pictures ready days after the wedding. Working with Rachel is a dream come true, and made our wedding into the fairy tale we hoped it would be!

You took the most amazing pictures at my daughter’s wedding at the Knapp Winery. You caught the most endearing expressions on Michelle and Nick’s faces during the day. The pictures on the tandem bike are amazing and the pictures on the dock are fantastic. I don’t remember seeing you at the reception, but you must have been there because there are lots of incredible pictures from the reception and the dancing afterwards. Thank you so much.
